This award is very well deserved and reflects the culture of creativity and innovation that is at the heart of the curriculum at Saxon Way.
The assessors praised the quality of the application commenting the following:
You clearly have a firm commitment to providing rich arts and cultural opportunities for your pupils at Saxon Way, and this is now embedded within your whole school ethos of āproud traditions, high achievements and wide horizonsā. The creation of an Arts Hub Team has served to strengthen middle leadership skills, and you have seen improvements in the planning and teaching of the Arts due to the development of a new, well-sequenced curriculum, with a focus on creating immersive opportunities through a broad and balanced curriculum and pupilsā progression in skills.
